Shown in the photo on the RIGHT, the AIR FORCE Bolt Action ballpoint pen is handmade in my shop. I personally inlay the precision laser cut individual wood pieces into the pen to form the U.S. AIR FORCE logo insignia.
This pen is made with hand inlaid wood that was precision cut with a laser. I take each small wood piece and hand inlay it into the body of the pen to form the design. I turn it to shape on a lathe, sand and finish the pen using superglue (CA glue) – the proven best pen finish for lasting beauty and protection.
The pen is a BOLT ACTION design. The 24k Gold and Copper metal components replicate real 30 caliber bullet ammunition. Take a look at the copper writing tip, upper and lower sections and cap above the clip. The pocket clip is shaped like a bolt action rifle and even has a scope. Operate the pen mechanism by sliding the bolt forward and lock into position.
The bolt action pen is one of my most popular designs. Although this listing is for the pen with 24k Gold colored components, I can also make it in Gun Metal, Antique Gold or 24k Gold components with Copper for the bullet tip. I also make this pen in a standard twist pen without the bolt action design. It is the pen on the LEFT in the photo.
To operate, push the “bolt” forward and lock into position. To retract, unlock the bolt and let it slide back.
I personally hand make each pen one at a time to ensure quality. In my shop I carefully choose only the finest materials for lasting beauty and functionality.
Satisfaction guaranteed as well as my workmanship.
This ball point uses a universal PARKER type refill. There are many options for refills that perfectly fit the PARKER style. Check out the Schmidt and Private Reserve options in my REFILLS section. Fine and medium point tip, and black or blue are options to supercharge your pen into a fine writing implement. Basic PARKER style refills are also available at your local office supply stores.
To replace the refill, unscrew the bullet cone shaped piece where the ink cartridge comes out. Pull out the spring and refill. Reuse the spring and place it on the new refill. Insert the refill/spring and screw on the cone shaped piece. Test for smooth operation.
