I personally handmade this one of a kind fountain pen. I used a blue dyed resin stabilized piece of box elder burl wood. You can see the burl emphasized by the resin and dying process. Some of the burl is uncolored where it is dense and the dye could not penetrate it. Other areas where the wood was softer allowed the blue to penetrate and are a deep rich blue.
The fountain pen has a #5 medium width German made iridium tip nib. It uses the international size fountain cartridges available at larger office supply store or her at this Mission City Pens website.
The upper cap is designed to post on the lower end if you like the extra weight and length. The metals are 24k gold plated.
This is a one of a kind pen. The coloring can not be duplicated. You will receive this pen as pictured.
I have been making professional custom handmade pens since 2005. Experience counts. Thanks for looking.
