Shipping policy
Items hand made by Mission City Pens are often one of a kind, made to order or ready made and ready to ship. If your order will take more than 3 days to ship (weekends excluded), I will notify you of the delay.
Mission City Pens has been successfully shipping handmade items for over 15 years. Each item will be appropriately packaged to ensure safe undamaged arrival. Mission City Pens is not responsible for shipments and their arrival (or not) once they are delivered to the U.S. Post Office as shown by the tracking information.
Most items shipped to the U.S. will be by U.S.P.S. unless prior arrangements are made. Most Free Shipping options will be First Class or Parcel mail. Paid shipping will be according to selection - economy, Priority or Express Priority. Mission City Pens can not be responsible for shipping delays or lost packages once the item is delivered to the U.S. Post Office. Shipping times are estimates by the shipping carrier. I do not ship on weekends or holidays. Mission City Pens is not responsible for lost, damaged packages or delays once the package is delivered to the USPS. This includes international shipping. Insurance is optional and recommended.
International shipping will be either U.S.P.S., U.P.S. or Fed Ex depending on cost and your preference. Shipping cost is paid by the buyer in all cases. Mission City Pens will not pay international shipping costs. The buyer is responsible for all import duties, fees or other costs imposed by your location. International shipments by USPS are by First Class and are only tracked while in the U.S. Mission City Pens assumes no responsibility for International shipping losses or delays or import, duties, customs or any fees charged by the receiving country. Shipping carriers other than USPS can be arranged if desired at the customer's expense.
