The Majestic series of pens is a large desk-top collector grade pen. Premium metal components and the pen body material selection make this a premium example of one of my custom created handmade pens.
The body of this pen has 2 sections of hand inlaid wood. The wood is maple dyed and stabilized clear, blue and red. The U.S. flag has 50 stars and 13 stripes. Each star and stripe is precision cut with a laser. I then inlay each star and stripe into the maple center section. I turn it to shape on al lathe, sand and apply multiple layers of the best and most durable finish available to preserve and protect your patriotic pen. I complete the wood sections with a fine polish.
The metal components are titanium gold (titanium mixed with gold to provide lifetime durability) and rhodium (platinum group). Both metals are lifetime quality never to wear off. There is a clear crystal on the end of the pocket clip.
The pen measures approximately 5 3/4" x 3/4" and weighs 3.5 oz. The pen in the photo is the pen you will receive. It is one-of-a-kind and can not be duplicated due to the unique material.
The cap unscrews to access the fountain nib. The cap will not post on the other end due to the weight and length being heavy and long. The photos do not show the pen with the rollerball cartridge installed. The fountain nib is German made, #6 nib and broad width. I include 5 international size cartridges with the fountain pen.
If you prefer rollerball, you must let me know during the order, otherwise it will ship as a fountain pen. The rollerball comes with a premium Schmidt metal cartridge. Refills are available at larger office supply stores or here on Mission City Pens website.
