I personally handmade this pen. Made of precision laser cut wood, the individual colored wood pieces are hand inlaid into the main pen body. I then turn it to shape on a lathe, sand and apply a superior 6 layer protective finish to preserve the wood. It is not a photo but is real wood. This is the military Delta Force logo design.
The gun metal plated metal components are designed to look like a 30 caliber rifle bullet. The writing tip is shaped like a 30 cal bullet, the top is shaped like a primer and the pocket clip is shaped like a scope rifle. To operate, slide the bolt forward and lock in place. The pen uses a standard Parker compatible ballpoint refill available at office supply stores or through this Mission City Pens website.
No real gun or bullet parts were used to make this pen. It is NOT capable of operation other than as a pen.
"Delta Force," officially known as 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D), is one of the U.S. special missions units primarily focused on the counterterrorism mission. SFOD-Delta has been through a few name changes over the years, and even though it likely always will be known as SFOD-Delta, it recently was renamed the Combat Applications Group (CAG) and is now known officially as Army Compartmented Elements (ACE).
Each pen is made one at a time to ensure quality. I have been making custom pens since 2005. Experience counts. Thanks for looking. I appreciate it.
