I personally handmade this one of a kind fountain pen. I used a premium - and expensive - exhibition grade Thuya burl wood as the body - very exquisite and traditional look. The grain and burl are exceptional. I used no dyes or coloring to enhance this wood.
I protected and preserved the wood body with a long process of shaping, sanding and applying multiple layers of the best and longest lasting finish possible for a pen.
This is being offered as a rollerball pen. It uses a German Schmidt premium cartridge - included but not shown in the photos. Refill cartridges are available under different brands at your local larger office supply store or through this Mission City Pens website.
If you prefer a fountain nib version, I can exchange it for you. You must let me know at the time of the order if you want the fountain nib. The fountain nib will be German made, iridium tip, #5 medium width. It uses the standard international size cartridge or a converter (not included) to draw your preferred color or characteristic ink from a bottle
The upper cap is designed to post on the lower end if you like the extra weight and length. The metals are black titanium accents and platinum for a lifetime of use in this collector series pen.
This is a one of a kind pen. The coloring can not be duplicated. You will receive this pen as pictured.
I have been making professional custom handmade pens since 2005. Experience counts. Thanks for looking.
