The pen body is black with a real vintage Los Angeles L.A. Rams logo Beer Bottle Cap embedded into a protective crystal clear resin.
The beer bottlecap is from a 2009 - 2010 Canadian beer promotion. This pen is limited and becoming rare as the bottlecaps are becoming difficult to find from collectors.
The outer rough edge of the bottlecap is cut off. The remaining cap is curved to match the pen shape and then placed in a mold and cast in clear resin. I then turn it to shape, sand, polish and then press on the premium metal components.
The pen operates with a 1/2 twist to extend or retract the ballpoint ink cartridge. It uses a stndard Parker compatible refill available at office supply stores, on-line or through this Mission City website.
