To compliment my historical and memorabilia pens featuring authentic items embedded into the pen, this handmade limited and rare pen features an actual aluminum piece of a P-38 Lightning. The piece was recovered from a salvaged parts P-38 being used to restore White 33, the P-38 restored by Westpac vintage WWII airplane restorations in Colorado Springs. I personally selected this section of material. The material is embedded in the image highlight.
Included with the pen is a brief history and description of the Lightning warbird as well as the history of this plane where the metal was taken from. The 2 sided Certificate of Authenticity provides additional details and is secured with a foil seal.
The pen components are made with Gun Metal and Chrome for long lasting durability and excellent presentation. To operate, 1/2 twist will extend or retract the easy to find PARKER compatible refill.
Other warbird pens are available including the Corsair, P-38 Lightning, P-51, B-17, Vickers Wellington Bomber, Spitfire, C-47 (really cool history on this pen), Mosquito and P-47 Thunderbolt.
